Brand new, mind-blowingly clean hostel with super polite and hospitable staff. Worth every penny, with jaw-dropping views of the castle. Comfortable, safe, and beautiful. Better than a hotel. No regrets, thank you!

the room was comfortable and clean, with well-spaced beds in the dorm. the bathrooms were impressive, offering plenty of showers and toilets. the beautifully designed kitchen was also well-equipped. the staff went above and beyond, with one of the ladies even going to the shop to accommodate my dietary preferences at breakfast. It was one of the best hostels I've stayed at in the Balkans, highly recommended!
It was all superb! 👌.

Loved the "garden" which was more like a playground for ants, the "shared lounge" where I could awkwardly watch others and pretend to be sociable, and the "free WiFi" that was slower than a snail on a lazy Sunday. So much fun!
The "terrace" had a lovely view of a brick wall. So zen.

The location was great, close to the main streets of the old town. the triple room had a fantastic terrace with a beautiful view. the host was friendly and helpful. Parking right in front of the guesthouse was convenient. the room was clean and quiet, providing great value for money. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend getaway.
The kitchen lacked some basic amenities like a microwave, cooking oil, and pepper. there was only one functioning shower out of the three, and the locks and lights in the other bathrooms had issues.

We had a fantastic stay at a great place in Gjirokaster! the Trigona Hostel was located in a quiet part of the old town, but still close enough to shopping and restaurants. the room was clean and had a beautiful stone wall, plus a great balcony with a view of the castle. the kitchen was well equipped for cooking and there were nearby food shops. the bathrooms had plenty of hot water and were some of the best shared ones we've encountered on our trip. the staff was friendly and provided a wonderful breakfast each morning. They even went above and beyond by driving us to the post office and bus stop in the rain. Highly recommend this hostel!
For us, it was ideal! 😊.

The value for money at Trigona was unbeatable; I had an amazing eight-day stay in a comfortable and clean dorm room with a well-functioning air conditioner. The hostel is conveniently located near the Bazaar area and the staff, a young and hospitable family, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.
The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety or choices.
